Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Vablis is a software service provided by Blomburst Solutions Oy (Business ID 3587888-4, Iidesaukio 3, 33100 Tampere, PL 82085, Finland), referred to below as Blomburst, we or us. The service is available at vablis.endgamex.io.

These terms apply to the free preview and to the paid service. By requesting a preview or buying Vablis you accept these terms on behalf of the company or other organisation you represent, and you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Vablis is sold to businesses and to consumers, in Finland and abroad.

2. The free preview

The preview shows how Vablis understands your company before you pay anything.

• You give an email address and the web address of a website. Before Vablis reads anything, you confirm the email address through a link we send you, and you confirm that you own or control the website. This confirmation is the basis on which Vablis reads the site. You must not enter a website you do not own or control.
• Vablis reads only publicly available pages of that website. It does not log in anywhere, does not bypass access restrictions and does not read platforms that require a login.
• From the pages it reads, Vablis produces a short summary of how it understood your company and, where they can be produced to that standard, three example outputs, each with references to the pages they came from. Every example cites the pages it used. If we cannot produce examples that meet that standard, we show you what we did produce and say what is missing, rather than showing you an example we cannot stand behind.
• Vablis may decline to show a preview if the site does not contain enough material for an honest result, and may limit the number of previews per website, email address and day.
• The preview request, the pages read for it and everything produced from them are deleted automatically seven days after the request. Your IP address is stored only as a salted hash, for rate limiting.
• The preview is free and creates no obligation for you or for us.

3. Buying Vablis

• Vablis is bought with a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.
• Business customers pay 1 000 € plus applicable value added tax. Consumer customers pay 1 250 € including value added tax. Payment is made through Stripe, and the applicable tax and the final price are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your purchase includes the onboarding interview, the indexing of the sources you approve, support, and a starting balance of credits. The starting balance is shown in the service and is sized for about a year of typical use.
• Your right to use the service begins when Stripe confirms the payment. You receive a login link by email.
• A completed purchase is final and there is no right of cancellation: the service is made available to you immediately.

4. Credits

• Vablis meters its work in credits. Each task consumes credits according to the amount of text the model reads and writes.
• Before a task an estimate is reserved from your balance. After the task only the used share is charged and the rest returns to your balance. If a task fails, the reservation is released in full and nothing is charged.
• When your balance runs out, Vablis stops performing tasks and tells you so. Your account, your sources and your outputs remain available, and you can continue by buying more credits.
• Additional credits are sold as one-time packages of 30 €, 100 € or 250 €. There is no automatic charging.
• Credits are not refunded, whether used or unused.
• Credits have no monetary value outside the service and cannot be transferred to another account.

5. Your account and devices

• Access is granted with a login link sent to your email address or with an activation key. Links are single-use and time-limited; the email states how long a link is valid.
• Each licence includes a fixed number of device slots. You can release a device yourself from the status and support view.
• You are responsible for the security of your email account and your devices and for everything done through your account. We may revoke sessions if we suspect misuse.

6. Your content, your outputs, our software

• Your data is yours: the websites and other sources you approve, the interview and everything else you provide. You grant us a limited licence to store, index and process it solely to provide, secure and support the service.
• Outputs are yours: the texts and answers Vablis produces for you belong to you, and you may use them as you see fit, subject to section 8.
• The software is ours: Vablis, its configuration, prompts, interfaces and documentation are the property of Blomburst. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business while your licence is valid. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing service from it.
• We do not use your data or your outputs to train models, ours or anyone else's.
• If you give us feedback, we may use it to improve the service without obligation to you.

7. Sources, websites and connected vaults

• Vablis answers only from the sources you have approved in the service. A source that you have not approved, or that you have rejected, is not used even if it has been uploaded.
• When you add a source, you confirm that you own it or have the right to let Vablis read and process it, including any personal data it contains.
• When Vablis reads a website, it reads only publicly available pages. It does not read content behind a login and does not circumvent the terms of other platforms. Where a platform requires a login, you can export your own data and upload it instead.
• You can connect a vault of your own notes. You choose which folders Vablis may read, and it reads only those. It reads Markdown files only. The folders you select are approved sources in the sense used above.
• Your files remain yours and remain where they are. What Vablis holds is a working copy of the text from the folders you selected. It is not a backup, and you should not treat it as one. If you lose your own files, we cannot restore them for you.
• You can change the selected folders, or disconnect the vault, at any time. Disconnecting stops all further reading immediately, and our working copy is erased within 30 days. Your own files are not affected. If a vault stops syncing for 90 days, we treat it as abandoned and remove our working copy on the same terms.
• When you add a vault, you confirm that the notes in the folders you selected are yours to share with us, including any information about other people that they contain. This is the same confirmation you give for any other source.
• We do not promise any particular vault size, number of files or sync speed, and we may limit what a single sync reads.

8. AI outputs and your responsibility

• Vablis produces text with a language model. Outputs can be incomplete, outdated or wrong even when they cite a source. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before you rely on them or send them to anyone.
• Vablis is not designed for, and must not be used for, legal, medical or financial decision-making, or for any decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on a person. Outputs are not professional advice.
• Where you have set an action to require approval, Vablis does not act without it. You are responsible for the approval levels you set.
• You are responsible for how you use the outputs and for the content you publish or send.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use Vablis to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to process data you have no right to process, to attempt to access another customer's data, to circumvent usage limits or security measures, or to generate or send unsolicited bulk messages. We may suspend access that violates these terms.

10. Availability, changes and support

• We aim to keep Vablis available and announce planned maintenance where possible. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
• We may improve and change the service. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we tell you in advance.
• Support is available through the status and support view in the service and by email at valtteri@blomburst.io.

11. Data protection

• How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Notice.
• For personal data contained in your sources, your interview and your outputs, you are the controller and Blomburst is the processor, acting on your instructions. A data processing agreement is available on request and forms part of these terms once signed.
• Your data is stored in the European Union. The sub-processors we use are listed in the Privacy Notice.

12. Warranties and liability

• The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. Beyond what is stated in these terms and what mandatory law requires, we give no warranties, including as to the accuracy of outputs.
• Blomburst's total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid to Blomburst for Vablis. Blomburst is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, business or data, or for damage caused by reliance on an output.
• These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where mandatory law does not allow the limitation.
• You are liable for damage caused by your breach of sections 2, 7, 8 or 9, including claims by third parties whose website or data you had no right to submit.

13. Ending the service and deleting data

• You may stop using Vablis at any time and may ask us to delete your account and data by writing to valtteri@blomburst.io.
• We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms and do not remedy the breach within 14 days of our notice, or immediately if the breach cannot be remedied or endangers the service or other customers.
• When your account ends, your licence ends and any remaining credits are forfeited. We delete your sources, indexes, interview and outputs within 30 days of the account ending, except data we must keep by law, such as accounting records. Preview data is deleted after seven days regardless.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes arising from these terms or the service are settled in the District Court of Pirkanmaa, Finland, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is published at /terms with its date. If a change materially affects your rights, we notify you in advance by email.
